Project Facts at a Glance

Description Our Scope of Works comprised of the construction of 24 housing units in a mix of 2 storey houses and cottage flats delivered in nine blocks of timber frame construction. Our brief included the provision of new roads / parking, public and private footpaths, division and boundary walling and fencing, drying facilities, bin stores, soft / hard landscaping and service connections /diversions as necessary.

The housing mix incorporates a number of particular needs properties in the form of two fully accessible wheelchair cottage flats designed to Housing for Varying Needs/SBD Standard. The properties achieved compliance with Silver Level aspects 1 & 2.

A number of Contractor Design items were included within the project including Timber Frame, Roof Trusses, Heating Systems and a Mechanical Extractor Ventilation system (dMEV). The floor joists above the wheelchair cottage flats were designed to accommodate a future wheelchair track and hoist installation.
