McTaggart Construction is delighted announce that our Bellrock Close development in Cranhill, Glasgow for the Scottish Veterans Housing Association has been shortlisted for the prestigious Saltire Society Housing Design Awards in the Innovation category!
Established in 1937 the Award celebrates the best in housing design in Scotland. Intended for Owners, Clients, Architects, House-builders and Housing Developers of all shapes and sizes, the length and breadth of Scotland – the awards have recognised everything from single dwellings in the remotest reaches of the Highlands, to largescale commercial developments in the country’s major urban centres.
Bellrock Close, designed by MAST Architects of Glasgow is a unique project which combines high quality, energy efficient and adaptable temporary housing for veterans with specially designed support facilities including an IT Suite, Training Rooms, Gym, Sensory Garden and a community cafe run by the RVS.
The judging is underway with the results announced on 22 June.
